H2O (Water) Cube Bundle
This dual-element bundle brings science to life with the chemical formula of water. In 1811, Italian physicist Amedeo Avogadro proposed the chemical formula for water, H₂O, as part of his groundbreaking hypothesis known as Avogadro's Law. This law stated that equal volumes of gases, at the same temperature and pressure, contain an equal number of molecules. Avogadro introduced the idea that gases like hydrogen and oxygen exist as diatomic molecules (H₂ and O₂). He suggested that water is composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, leading to the formula H₂O. This proposal was pivotal in reconciling atomic theories with experimental observations and laid the foundation for modern chemistry.
