Introducing the world's first handheld Periodic Table with the actual elements in it! Over the last year, we have successfully collected each and every stable element. After considerable R&D, we have finally developed a method of embedding each element in acrylic and we have to say, the result is awesome! The Heritage Periodic Table pretty much speaks for itself. The collection looks great on a desk, in your hands, and anywhere else it can be displayed. Please note that these displays are made 100% by hand. There will be variations in them. Though they are high quality, it is impossible to make a display that is 100% perfect by everyone's standards. Sometimes elements are slightly different sizes, samples are not perfectly centered, or small fibers or dust are in the acrylic.

Safety

We get asked about the radioactivity and overall safety of the periodic table from time to time. These are legitimate concerns and we wanted to address those concerns here. Although several elements in the periodic table are dangerous or toxic, the acrylic and glass ampules make the collection safe to handle and store. The radiation from the uranium and thorium samples is extremely low. Autunite (uranium ore sample) has a radioactivity level of 0.01 mRem for a 2mm piece held in your hand for an hour.

The average American is exposed to 0.034 mrem/hr from background radiation (300 mrem/year). In other words, a person will get three times the radiation from natural background radiation which includes the sun, food, radon, and the environment, than they will from holding the periodic table all day.

Extremely high quality in a small package at an appropriate price

I bought this as a present for my girlfriend's Master Degree in Chemistry and it was an immense success.
The product is truly an example of fine work. The elements inside are very nice to the eyes, easy to see and appreciate.
The elements are very well sealed inside, the protection glass looks and feels extremely (truly, truly extremely) durable, which is appropriate for protection.
The lengths they went to in order to include some of the more difficult elements are also quite impressive (at least to a non-expert such as myself): they have created some small combinations that allow certain elements to be in the table which would otherwise need to be excluded.
The inclusion of some radioactive elements (that are obviously neutralized or we'd all be shortening our lives here) is also icing on the cake, because we hear them mentioned often, but we never see them, and within this little beautiful box, we get to actually see them.
Also, they include a comprehensive list of the elements within the table and how their state inside it is obtained, if they're pure or pre-treated in some manner in order to be included, which helps to understand why some elements have specific shapes or colors that an expert (again, not myself) might see as odd.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with the product and it definitely deserves 5 stars.

Here are a couple of tips regarding shipping and fees you should be careful about when buying, especially if internationally.
The better shipping option (that is only slightly pricier than the default one, mind you) doesn't guarantee the faster delivery: in my case the package arrived a day later (at no fault of Engineered Labs).
Any shipping fees that your country may impose upon the package are yours to pay for: this is specified in the "details" section of the product page and among the general terms of the website.

Take this couple of things into consideration when purchasing, but don't let them deter you. The product still arrives quite fast even if you're far, and when it gets to you, it won't disappoint.

Amazing product

Amazing product. I was scammed once before so I reckoned to pay a bit more to know to get a real one. It was delivered in about 2 weeks. Had to pay about 20 euros extra for european customs in additional to shipping fees. It was well worth it. It looks very nice. Solid acryl base with all the expected elements in there.

I love the way all these real elements have been arranged and it's wonderful to have it on my desk and keep staring at it.
