Titanium's atomic number is 22 and its symbol is Ti. Titanium is a lustrous transition metal with the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metallic element. These abilities, along with corrosion resistance make it a great option for aerospace. Titanium oxides are abundantly found throughout the earth's crust in igneous rocks. Out of 801 types of igneous rocks analyzed in a survey, 784 of them contained titanium. Over the last few decades, titanium has become an increasingly popular alternative to steel because of its lightweight. Now titanium is being used in countless consumer goods including high-end automotive, tennis rackets, golf clubs, cookware, firearms, jewelry, and orthopedic implants.

I will start with the product is fine. It is bigger then I pictured in my mind and nicely presented. I have no problem with the product and if that was my only concern I would order some more cubes again. My problem is with the shipping. I ordered the cubes for my grandson for Christmas. I was told I would receive them December 16th. I knew I had to mail them on to my grandson so I was getting concerned when I didn't receive them by the 17th so I called the company directly to see if I could find out when I might receive them. A very nice man answered the phone right away and I told him my dilemma. He kindly looked up my order and said they had been in a distributing warehouse in San Diego since Dec. 14th. Unfortunately, I didn't catch what delivery service was handling the package (UPS, USPS, etc.) but since I live in San Diego County, I figured surely it would be here soon. It had to be close enough I could have picked it up myself. When it still didn't arrive in another couple of days, I called the company again to find out if they could tell me who was delivering it and a possible tracking #. I also wanted to know if it had been insured in anyway. This time they didn't answer the phone, and I left a detailed message and asked them to call me back. They never did call me back which surprised me as they were so pleasant the first time I called. I called 2 more times having to leave a message every time and no one ever returned my call. By then I figured the package was lost and I was out a lot of money unless I could find out who was supposed to be delivering it, and I could contact them and argue with them to get my money back. In the meantime, I found out that Amazon carried their product. I had to pick different cubes as they did not carry a complete line of the cubes but I reordered more cubes on Amazon being careful to pick cubes that specifically said they would be delivered Wednesday Christmas Eve because some of them said they wouldn't be delivered until January. Well, Christmas had come and gone, and my grandson never got the ones from Amazon either. I tracked them and they won't get there until Jan. 3rd. (Those I had sent directly to him instead of coming to me.) Finally, after thinking the original order from engineered labs was lost in the mail it arrived on Dec 26. So, I have two orders of cubes for my grandson and spent way more money then I can afford or planned to. If only engineered Labs had answered my phone calls and told me a tracking # or at least who was supposed to be delivering my package I could have contacted that company directly and found out if my original package was lost or if I could go get it myself and I would not have ordered more on Amazon. I just wanted my grandson to have a Christmas present on Christmas day and not have to watch my granddaughter and the rest of his family get presents while he sat there with none from me. MY SUGGESTION IS IF ORDERING FROM ENGINEERED LABS ORDER WAY IN ADVANCE OF WHEN YOU MIGHT WANT THEM. SEE IF YOU CAN INSURE THE PACKAGE AND BE SURE TO GET THE TRACKING #.
