In 79 AD, the Roman city of Pompeii was tragically buried under layers of volcanic ash and pumice following the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The eruption, one of the most famous and deadly in history, caught the inhabitants by surprise, leading to the preservation of buildings, artifacts, and even human remains. Rediscovered in the 18th century, Pompeii offers a unique glimpse into ancient Roman life, capturing the daily routines and culture of a thriving city abruptly halted by nature's fury.

This display features genuine volcanic ash from the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Each specimen was meticulously collected from the archaeological site and is carefully preserved within crystal-clear Lucite acrylic. This artifact offers a tangible link to one of history's most significant natural disasters. Whether you're an archaeology enthusiast, a history buff, or simply fascinated by the wonders of the ancient world, this display is an extraordinary addition to your collection.
