The Atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945, was a devastating and historically significant event during World War II. Codenamed "Little Boy," the bomb was the first-ever deployed in warfare. It was a uranium-235 fission bomb with a yield equivalent to approximately 15 kilotons of TNT. The blast instantly killed tens of thousands of people and caused widespread destruction. The long-term effects of radiation exposure resulted in further casualties and raised awareness of the catastrophic consequences of nuclear weapons.

This acrylic display features an authentic tile from a rooftop in Hiroshima, Japan, that witnessed the catastrophic atomic bomb explosion on August 6, 1945.

The tile is a tangible reminder of the unimaginable destruction caused by the nuclear bomb, symbolizing the resilience of the people who endured this tragic event. Preserved within a crystal-clear acrylic block, this artifact serves as a powerful testament to the impact of war and the importance of peace and remembrance.

Each Hiroshima Rooftile sample is a unique piece of history, bearing witness to a moment that changed the course of the world. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a collector of significant artifacts, or simply wish to pay homage to the courage and strength of the people affected by the atomic bomb, this display is a meaningful addition to your collection.

No certificate of authenticity

The first thing I ordered from your company came with a certificate of authenticity and I've ordered several more things for my son and none of them have come with one. This would be my last order for that reason. For all we know we're spending good money on a small piece of trash

Looks great!

Exactly as advertised. Clean bright acrylic block, nice descriptive text, and of course the tile fragments from the time of the Hiroshima nuclear weapon. I would recommend it!
